As part of the collaboration that has been developed by the Perdigões Project and the University of Kiel (Germany), a set of about 50 radiocarbon datings of Perdigões contexts will be carried out by this university until the end of 2022. The goals are to specify the chronology of the final stages of the Perdigões, namely in its central area. It is a convergence of project objectives that focus on issues related to the social dynamics that characterize the end of the 3rd millennium BC and the transition to the Bronze Age in the south of the Peninsula. As has been the practice in the Perdigões project, opening up to partnerships that develop in an environment of parity and effective collaboration is a strategic line that we continue to develop.
