To be integrated in the exhibition “Ídolos. Olhares Milenares”, on display at the National Archaeology Museum during 2021, two shaped horse phalanges that were partially covered by intense concretions were cleaned and restored at the lab of the museum. The cleaning revealed that the eyes are represented in the decoration, in addition to other iconographic attributes. There are now 3 “eyed” phalanges in Perdigões, with the particularity that one of them was fragmented and distributed in two tombs. Their study and publication will now be carried out in the context of a review and updating of all these pieces in Perdigões, whose number has been increasing since their last publication.
